Bamidele Vincent Omolaye is a Lecturer at the Department of Music, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria. He obtained his Nigerian Certificate in Education (N.C.E. Music) from Kwara State College of Education Ilorin, and his B.A., M.A., Ph.D. in (Music) at the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria where he teaches Analysis of African & Western Music, African Music and Music Production and Management. His research areas include African Musicology, Performance Studies, Cultural Studies, Popular Music and Feminist Studies.
