Timothy Oluwafemi AYODELE (PhD) is engaged in teaching and research in the Department of Estate Management, Faculty of Environmental Design and Management of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. His has years of teaching experience in Property Valuation, Feasibility and Viability Studies, Property Management and Land Use and Resources Management. Dr. Ayodele’s research focus since joining the Department has been in the area of real estate portfolio analysis, real estate development appraisal and real estate education with emphasis on developing countries. His Bachelor dissertation was on comparative analysis of investment options in Lagos metropolis and Master thesis was on effects of securitized real estate in portfolio allocation choices in the Nigerian investment market. His doctoral thesis was examined the management of uncertainty in real estate development through the use of real option analysis. He has published in scholarly journals including Property Management (Emerald Group Ltd, U.K), Journal of Sustainable Real Estate (American Real Estate Society, U.S.A.), Real Estate Finance (U.S.A.) and International Journal of Construction Management (Taylor and Francis Publishing, U.K). He has also delivered papers in conferences including African Real Estate Society (AfRES) among others. In addition, Dr. Ayodele is an Associate member of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyor and Valuer (ANIVS) and a corporate member of the Nigerian Estate Surveyors and Valuers Registration Board of Nigeria (RSV-ESVARBON).
